Directory of Yacht Manufacturers

Below are our favorite manufacturers of motoryachts and sport yachts (generally 35' and up), as well as mega yachts which are typically 75 feet and up. Will a yacht be your "first" boat? It's becoming more common lately as wealthier new boaters jump into recreational boating with increasingly larger boats.

Maxum Sport Yachts
When most people hear the name "Maxum" for the first time, they are likely confused with that popular men's magazine of a similar name.
Of course Maxum Boats have many features that appeal to a similar young, single audience, but they also are great for small families. Their current sport yachts line includes only one model over 35 feet, and it is worth checking out.

Azimut Yachts
A northern Italian manufacturer of luxury yachts, Azimut has fly bridge models that are 100 feet and up, and open models under 40 feet and up. Azimut yachts are very luxurious and designed to please the most demanding charter customers.

Carver Yachts
Carver's typical yachts range from the 40 to 60 foot range, and they recently expanded their line to include smaller sport cruisers. Known for their ever-present flybridge, Carvers are sometimes accused of looking top-heavy, but they are actually quite spacious and functional.

Egg Harbor Yachts
With 60 years of boat building experience, Egg Harbor has earned the reputation in the marketplace as "World Class". Go fishing in luxury on one of their 35 to 50 foot fishing yachts.

Sea Ray
Sea Ray currently has a large selection of Sport Yachts and Yachts from 38 to 61 feet, each nicely designed and well-outfitted to meet the desires of discriminating yacht owners.
